High Speed VDSL Point-to-Point Solution

ZyXEL P-871M is a VDSL point to point solution. Users could use a pair of P-871Ms to configure one as CO and the other as CPE modem to support VDSL bridge mode. This solution makes higher bandwidth leased-line application and LAN-to-LAN connectivity simple and easy. New revenue is possible with minimum installation time and expense. It proves to be a promising technology and revenue generation tool for service providers.

P-871M could support ultra-high data rate to let ISP deploy many kinds of services in 1.5km long distance connections easy.

Ultra-high Data Rate Up to 80/40Mbps

With up to 80 Mbps for downstream and 40 Mbps for upstream bandwidths, the P-871M offers higher data transfer rates and provides bigger bandwidth than traditional ADSL gateways.

A bigger bandwidth allows small to medium business users to enjoy quality symmetric and asymmetric applications like video conventions, file exchange services…etc., which was previously unavailable.


Operate Over Existing Copper Wires and Co-exist with POTS/ ISDN Services

VDSL provides much higher bandwidth than other DSL technologies, and thus enables services providers to offer a variety of value-added services ranging from broadband Internet access to bandwidth-consuming video applications over existing telephone wires.

P-871M can be implemented quickly, even if there is only one phone line. You can still keep existing POTS or ISDN services while adding new VDSL services.
